Huge NES Purchase
So my e-friend Socheata was unloading a bunch of his games (for whatever reason), and he was kind enough to hold several NES titles I wanted until I could afford them. Well, that was like 7 months ago. I had all but forgotten about them until about a week ago when I remembered I can afford to buy things now, and brought them up. We agreed on $70 for several titles that I wanted, but then he just kinda decided to throw the rest of the NES games in the box as well…along with an Advantage controller. I didn’t feel too bad about getting 32 games and a joystick for $70 because he described them as “messed up”. Well, I received the package today and while a couple labels are a little scuffed (and Final Fantasy is covered in red ink…bummer…), there’s no way I’m letting that slide for $70. He’s totally ripping himself off (both Punch-Out!! and the original Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!! are in the box in excellent condition), and I feel awful about it.
So the guy’s entirely too nice and doesn’t want me to increase the price we agreed on, but I have doubled the price. Even at $140, I’m getting the carts for just a little over $4 each, which is still less than I can find them anywhere in town, but I’ll feel much better about it.
This purchase takes me to well over 100 NES carts, but if I don’t count doubles, I’m at 97 titles. I might have to go pick up 3 titles today and make it official.

d00d I need to send you my list. I’m just over 300 games right now, not counting doubles. I say just over 300 because I haven’t cleaned, or alphabetized, or inventoried my newest box of freebies. I am getting closer to the half way mark. (still pissed about losing Little Samson to you…ugh) I need to send you my doubles. I don’t have a lot, but what you don’t have I can hook you up for the disks. thanks again man
