Random Downtown Pics
Highlight of the evening: You guessed it, a crazy person! When I first moved here, I made it a goal to get threatened, unprovoked, by a homeless guy. It didn’t really happen, unless you count the “Go with Dennis!” guy, but today my wish finally came true. A guy was sitting at a bus stop [...]

Best Part of the State of the Union Address
This slayed me:
Bush: America opposes genocide in Sudan.
*Standing ovation*
Hahaha, what? That’s not a given? Way to draw the line on the mother of all wedge issues, genocide; good to know where we stand. I imagine that got a standing ovation because everybody was afraid that if they didn’t stand, it would look like they support [...]

I calculated today that my blog receives an average of 120 spam comments a day, or about one every 12 minutes. Rigoddamndiculous. I can’t even imagine how bad the problem is for blogs that get traffic.
Here are some examples of the type of random shit that spam bots plug into every open comment field on [...]
Plan B
My winter-wear of choice for the past several months has been my Plan B Skateboards hoodie which, I’ve learned, suffers from an unfortunate layout. “Plan B” is in tall, thick letters across the chest and “Skateboards” is in a much smaller, barely readable font underneath. I learned a while back — a comment from a [...]
Read More..>>New “Now Listening” Plugins
I don’t know where bloggers get this idea that people give a fuck about what music they listen to, especially at that exact moment, but I’m no exception. Up until now I had a sloppy plugin that read information from Winamp and posted it to my database, but the updating process would freeze Winamp for [...]
