I calculated today that my blog receives an average of 120 spam comments a day, or about one every 12 minutes. Rigoddamndiculous. I can’t even imagine how bad the problem is for blogs that get traffic.
Here are some examples of the type of random shit that spam bots plug into every open comment field on the internet:
