The Hardy Boys and the Case of the Broken CSS

All, Computers April 10th, 2008

It was pointed out to me last Tuesday that my site’s sidebar was relocating itself beneath the main content. Since last Tuesday was Microsoft’s patch day, I figured Internet Explorer received some upgrade that broke something; not the case.

My site (and many, many more) does not render correctly in Internet Explorer 6. This isn’t a problem with my site so much as Internet Explorer. And c’mon, IE7 has been out since late 2006. IE8 is almost here. Time to upgrade or, for the love of Christ, switch to Firefox like a decent human being. I’m not going to the trouble of “fixing” my site for the sake of people using seven year old software.

So yeah, you use IE6 I feel bad for ya son. I got 99 problems but IE6 ain’t one.

How are you pronouncing that in your head? Is it “Aye Six” or “I E Six”?

If it’s the latter, I disapprove of your rhyme replacement.

Oh it wasn’t supposed to be clever. That just happened.

My site (ANY many, many more)

Looks like you need to hire a proofreader before you fix for IE6.

    Clever rhyming schemes ahoy!

  4. zhx Says:

I don’t need to proofread when I have people that advertise all my spelling errors for me.

Smarty pants Bill spelled something wrong!~ Fuck you motherfuck! Spell that, motherfuck!~

That’s what I’m saying. Give me a goddamn job motherfuck.
