How Bored Do You Have to
Somebody pointed out online that the Google search suggestions for “Why Do Black People” are hilarious. I decided to try it myself with some other search terms…
People Google really weird shit. Oh, except for the first panel, where people Google really depressing shit.
“Why Do Mexicans” is pretty good, too. I also found it interesting that if you word a question more intelligently, the suggestions are more complex questions. For example, if you type “is mast,” you get 10 different spellings of masturbation, followed by “bad for you” or “a sin.” But if you type “why is it that” or “how is it that,” you end up with queries like “why is it that terrestrial planets are thought to have dense iron cores” or “how is it that particular locales can have characteristics conducive to crime.”
And yes, I’m having trouble sleeping.
