Backorder Nightmare
Last night I had a dream that I checked my email (I know, intense) and Adorama had shipped my fisheye lens. It was extremely disappointing to actually check my email today and see that yes, it is still on backorder, and they have no idea when Nikon will be getting them out to distributors.
I checked [...]
Dammit, Nikon!
It has now been 30 days since I ordered my 10.5mm fisheye and there is no end to the backorder situation in sight. Do you know how hard it is to keep that much money in my checking? Breakin my balls here, Nikon.

My friend Justin just bought a scooter and is totally living the lifestyle. I’ll let the photos fill in the blanks.

I was getting paid to browse photography sites yesterday at work and came across this super cool page full of Quicktime VR movies taken at some photo expo. I’ve only spent about an hour now with the final version, but so far I’m extremely impressed, [...]

I attempted some live music photography on my old Sony camera and got barely passable results. And as I mentioned before, the lens I got with my SLR is a great lens, but not so hot for indoor or low-light photography (f/3.5). The next lens on my shopping list is Nikon’s 10.5mm fisheye, which I [...]

Well it snowed AGAIN today, and reached physically painful lows. Tired of not being able to shoot outside, and desperately wanting to mess around with my camera, I decided to dig around online to look at various methods of building your own lightboxes for macros. There’s a zillion how-to’s on the subject, but I found [...]
